What Students Are Saying

"It's been over 2 years since I started learning more about Vagus nerve system through [Beth] and other teachers, and I am always amazed how beautiful our body system works. All [Beth's] stories help to deepen my understanding of materials. I really appreciated that [Beth] shared [her] own experience with us. Lastly, I used to be a member of Yoga International and practiced with [Beth] virtually too. Many of [her] classes that they posted are super knowledgeable. I learned a lot from [her] especially because I was a new teacher at the time. How lucky I am that I can now take [her] workshop through TOKYOYOGA!"

"[After attending this workshop], I now want to set aside time to do the drawing regularly! And it has transformed how I think about what yoga is!"
– Elizabeth Stanley (Owner of Yogacampus), Whole Brain Creativity and Neuroplasticity workshop attendee

"Since my heart attack I've been learning first hand the effects stress can have on our bodies & the importance of releasing said stress. I feel today's techniques are life-changing. The class was fun, delightful, packed with useful & practical information we all can do daily. If you ever have the opportunity to attend a presentation with Beth Spindler, please do yourself the favor. I received Joy today. Thank you F8 Studio for hosting."

"The course content was very clear and to the point, and I thought it was practical and could be used clinically. I would like to use it for myself and with my clients. I also enjoyed learning from Beth's warmth and humor. Thank you very much.”

"I love the way Beth combines the science in her own unique way, and she does it in a humorous way. As both my parents entered their 70s, I also felt something had changed dramatically. So I decided to attend this course to deepen my understanding of what it means to age, especially from a brain science perspective. I was very impressed that [Beth] first defined both dementia and mental illness as 'a state of losing sight of one's true self.' I also learned that nothing has changed fundamentally, which gave me hope."

"Beth has such a warm presence, she is an authentic teacher with a wealth of knowledge and experience. I really appreciate her work."
– Joanna, Yogacampus student

"I have learned new things and gained new insights from Beth every time, but I thought her lecture this time was especially wonderful. I had done some of the work that Beth incorporated in this class, and I think that the way in which the teacher interacts with the students makes a difference in how they feel about the effects of the work. I could tell from her lectures that she was dealing with her students with love and sincerity, [and] I learned a lot not only in terms of knowledge, but also as a teacher."

"I will enjoy doing the work that Beth-Sensei taught me to do with my father so that I can tell him how to take care of himself through yoga. Beth [also] taught me the phrase "take care of yourself", [and] I wanted to pass this on to my father."

“Prior to my recent move to California, I had been Beth's student for more than 5 years. In 2011, I completed my RYT 200 training at the Teach to Inspire Yoga Education Center, where she served as founding director, and [continued] as Director of Education. The thing that makes Beth special is her connection with her students. She has a unique ability to connect at an intuitive level with new students. She is supremely approachable, nonjudgmental, and empathic of the human condition. Her complete acceptance gives students the comfort within themselves to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. And, perhaps as important, it is impossible not to have fun when you are with her.”
– Janie Vestal Gleghorn, MD, American Board of Family Medicine
“I have been a student of Beth Spindler for over 10 years attending her classes at several studios prior to her establishing her own non-profit center in 2006. My experience with taking classes with a number of teachers made it quickly apparent to me that Beth had a far deeper knowledge and relationship to yoga than anyone with whom I had previously studied.
Beth takes her classes far beyond basic asanas by bringing a broad tantric foundation to each session. Every class begins with a theme that she weaves throughout the entire session. Her theme is always tied to her choice of a pranayama exercise as well as the asanas she chooses for the class. No two classes are ever the same. Beth’s Sanskrit fluency and extensive historical knowledge enable her to engage students at multiple levels. She concludes her class’s final meditation with a Sanskrit chant enriched by her lovely singing voice.
It should be no surprise that her class attendance is consistently large and there are a number of students who have studied with her for many years. I completed my 200 Ryt certification at Beth’s Teach To Inspire Center. Talking with other 200 level teachers it has become increasingly obvious to me that Beth’s curriculum went far beyond what others obtained at other schools.
I believe she would be a tremendous addition to any organization seeking a truly committed and well-rounded yoga leader.”

“Beth is a very passionate teacher about yoga. She is well-versed and dedicated in the practice and in teaching. She is very generous to the community and is committed to creating an experience of healing. I learned so much from Beth, not just in the presence of her, but in many moments of reflection about her teachings and our interactions. I would highly recommend her as a teacher to anyone wishing to expand their knowledge on yoga and healing.
One of the things I honor the most in my experience with Beth and in my life is that she saw something in me and encouraged me to grow. For that I am forever grateful to her, because she had no agenda to push me forward, yet I grew so much from my experience with her and felt fully supported when not many people would take that time or energy to do so. Beth is an amazing, beautiful spirit that will really challenge you to grow.”
